Time to return to Antenocitis Workshop, for a look at some of the newer things I have bought for my sci-fi table. Antenocitis Workshop is growing, and among their new initiatives is appealing packaging, and more relevant, a new casting process for resin models that looks very promising.
| Single Panel Solar Array |
These solar arrays are really useful. The casting is sharp, they are easy to assemble, and stable in play. You can place them on rooftops or on the ground where your sharpshooters need a little coverage.
Antenocitis have painted their silver using drybrush. I think I'll paint them in a dark blue glossy finish, although that probably will require some time and a steady hand.
You get two arrays for £ 5. |
| Mapper Command System |
I had half hoped that the screen would with print on clear plastic, a bit like the computer screens in Avatar. That was a tad ambitious. You get two prints, which are inverted, that you can stick on a thin plastic sheet, and then glue on a top and a foot. The prints and the casting is very fine, and it will make a fine piece - so there is no reason for disappointment. £ 6.95.
| Intercoms |
I am not to happy about these intercoms though. The parts are cleanly made, no problem there. They need some sandpaper on the back, but that is easily done. But the print for the screens should have had round corners as the parts have, so I think that I will paint them up instead of using the prints. £ 4,5.
| Sci-Fi Wheelie Bins |

More cover for my trusty soldiers. These bins have just the right size for that.
When I glued the bins together, I had some difficulty to smooth the assembling line. I feel that Antenociti should have hidden the line with a fine soffit. Two bins for £ 5.

| Future Car |

This future car have a clean look into it. Most of the vehicles I own all have a rugged look, so this car will be a nice supplement.
The car have some delicate parts that may - and on my copy did - brake off, but that were easely trimmed with a knive. I wish the lines on the back of the roof had been sharper a tad, and I miss some doors. But I am sure it will make a nice VIP car, for the corporate forces. £ 8,5.
| Nova-Rus "Bear" 4x4 Jeep |
This is a new design, and it is a marvel. The jeep comes with two roofs; one with a turret and one with a closed compartment. You can also use the jeep without a roof, as the details inside are very detailed. It have many metal parts, and all parts are sharp and fits together very nicely. |
Unlike most resin models I have seen, it have a detailed undercarriage; Antenocitis Workshop must have a new molding proces. If this is what we can expect from now on, the future of wargaming looks bright indeed. £ 19.50. |
